The LK80D is a dedicated detector for total suspended particulate (TSP) concentration, based on electrostatic principles. Within the measurement channel, when charged dust particles pass through or collide with the sensor, an electromotive force is generated on the sensor, which is proportional to the dust concentration. The LK80D utilizes an intelligent algorithm to filter out the direct current (DC) component of this electromotive force as a reference, while the alternating current (AC) component is used for dust concentration calculation.

Laboratory and field practices have proven that the LK80D can measure environmental dust with concentrations below 1 mg/m² and detect dust particles with a diameter of 0.3 μm.

The LK80D is equipped with two alarm signal outputs: early warning and alarm, and also features a three-color indicator light - green (normal), yellow (early warning), and red (alarm). During use, it can promptly inform on-site workers of changes in the environmental dust concentration at that time, so that measures can be taken as soon as possible to avoid equipment damage and personal harm.

LK80D also features continuous 4-20mA current signal output and an RS-485 communication interface, allowing for easy integration into systems.
